“Teeth whitening”… does anyone else shiver at these dreaded words?
For me “teeth whitening” used to bring back awful memories of using messy strips and being left unable to breathe because my teeth were so sensitive and in pain afterwards.
So when Smile Brilliant reached out asking if I’d be interested in a collaboration using their teeth whitening kit for 6 weeks and in return provide an honest review of their product I thought what the heck… why not?
Just like with anything in life it’s easier to navigate through it when we schedule things out and come up with a game plan. Otherwise, things are a bit of a mess.
The same is true for your plants - they love schedules! In fact I would argue that they flourish because of them.
I know why you’re here. You either are weighing the idea of getting an orchid, your orchid is hanging on for dear life, or you just killed your orchid. Not to fret - I’m here to help!

It's so exciting to travel to a city in the United States that contains so much history packed into one place. Not only that, but it's refreshing to discover so many D.C. local small business thriving that I was able to hit up.
My entire trip to Europe was based on one major key piece - spending some well-needed quality time with my Grandma Heidi. My grandmother is one of the most brilliant and fabulous women anyone may ever meet and she lives in one of the most gorgeous parts of Germany which is where my travels began.
After stopping in Frankfurt for a few days to visit my grandmother I decided to take a trip down to Italy for 4 days. My flight took me from the Frankfurt Hahn airport which was a smaller airport about an hour and a half away from Frankfurt International airport. The flights are much less expensive and I would highly recommend taking this route if you're wanting more bang for your buck while traveling out of Frankfurt to another country nearby! My flight took me directly to Rome where I then took a bus from the Ciampino Airport (CIA) to a small town nearby and then connected to the train leading to Roma Termini.
We are beginning our transition from Spring to Summer! It's very exciting and I don't know about everyone else, but I want everything lemon! There's something about lemon that makes me so happy! One of my favorite parts of traveling to the Amalfi Coast was all the lemon trees - the smells were intoxicating. It was like my dream paradise.
I'm a soup addict. Seriously, almost every single day that's what I crave for lunch.
I had some extra carrots on hand that I knew I needed to use up so I thought why not make some tasty soup out of them? So I put on my baker hat and started cooking away whipping up a tasty, delicious and super simple Carrot Soup recipe that does not disappoint!
Those of us who buy bananas can probably agree that before you know it you end up with 2-3 overripe bananas sitting in the kitchen. Now, if you are like me it's the ultimate excuse to whip up some tasty banana bread!
I'm not sure if I've ever met someone who didn't like a chocolate chip cookie. They come in all different shapes, sizes and textures so I think it's safe to say many of us chocolate chip cookie fanatics can be picky about how we like them to be.
For me, I like a chewy cookie center, thinner in size, and with crisp edges. This is the perfect chocolate chip cookie and if that sounds amazing to you then you will love this recipe!
Christmas is almost here and one of my favorite holiday traditions is coffee and dessert after dinner for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It's one of those memories that I have as a child where my mom would brew a large pot of coffee for family and friends while indulging in some form of a sweet holiday treat after a large dinner.
Now, I don't know about everyone else, but when I think of the holiday I immediately think back to my grandfather buying bags of ginger snaps. The crunchy round styled kind that were so delicious and so addicting you couldn't stop after having one. As a kid, I wasn't too picky about my holiday cookies. Hard, soft, chewy, raw - as long as I got a sugary fix did it really matter... not for me.
Anytime I'm able to cook food that ties back to my German roots I do which is why I'm super excited to share this yummy and simple recipe with you. However, I have to tell you. The pressure to get traditional recipes right is so stressful for me because I want to make my ancestors proud, but I'm pretty sure they are with this one!
